- What is UF Endpoint Management (UFEM)?
UFEM is the umbrella for several best of breed tool suites that are meant to aid the University of Florida community in managing our disparate endpoint systems. As new capabilities are identified and deployed, they will be added to the UFEM suite of tools.
- When will my unit have access to UFEM opportunities?
- UFIT is installing, configuring and enabling each technology into production individually. After each technology is configured and enabled, it is being rolled out across UFIT for testing and to ensure stability and performance. Additionally, there are a number of early adopters that will roll out immediately after UFIT for further testing. The initial rollout of these technologies will occur in the following order:
- TrendMicro OfficeScan
- Code42 CrashPlan
- Microsoft SCCM
- JamF
- Note: RedHat Satellite is already deployed and available for use.

- UF’s license agreements state:
Limited to University of Florida and/or personally owned servers, desktops, laptops and mobile devices used within the course and scope of University business with the following amendments:
